Well the last time I wrote I was pretty much ranting and raving about the whole disability process. Now it’s over, I was approved. Yay! So for 2 1/2 years I fought for the right to get a piddly sum of money each month because I can no longer work. The entire ordeal was mind-numbing to say the least, I have never been through so much hell and I hope I never will again!
I think what I’m the most amazed about is the hoops you have to jump through, and why would anybody want to pretend to be sick to get such a small sum of money a month is beyond me.
The whole process needs a major over-haul. There seems to be too many chiefs and not enough indians with their hands in the cookie jar. And why should it take so long to be approved if you have the medical evidence to back your claim? For me it no longer matters, my case is done, over. But for many more people out there who are just beginning the process all I can say is “I feel your pain!”
I can’t be there to hold anyone’s hand as they go through the mess called disability, but I can give advice or just listen to you vent. Comments are always read and responded to.
I’ll touch more on this later. As always, I look forward to hearing from you!
